Sunday, September 7 marked the beginning of a week of evangelism in Richelieu with a street outreach that brought together many brothers and sisters from Beau Bassin, Camp Levieux, Petite Rivière, and Trianon, along with a group from Switzerland who came to share the Good News in Mauritius
The Gospel was proclaimed, many prayed for the sick, and residents were invited to the two meetings scheduled for Friday, September 12 and Saturday, September 13
In total, 117 people took part in the outreach and more than a hundred residents of Richelieu were reached 25 healings were reported, and 75 people accepted prayer to receive Jesus in their hearts. The testimony of those who had been touched encouraged other residents to attend the meetings and to invite their relatives in turn
The two evenings of evangelism were held outdoors, and the Word of God was heard not only by the participants but also by passersby and those present nearby
At the end of these two evenings, 16 people were touched by the Lord and gave their lives to Jesus
On Sunday, September 14, the service was held at the Richelieu Village Hall, with 5 new people in attendance
We give thanks to the Lord for his faithfulness and continue our work in the field.
