Two weeks after Tyack, ‘Jesus Lespwar’ pitched its tent in Goodlands for three days of evangelism on the 23, 24 and 25 of August.
The churches in the North had begun preparations several weeks beforehand to ensure that as many people as possible could come and hear the Good News.
Christians were mobilised not only spiritually through prayer and fasting, but also practically through the many door-to-door visits and invitation distributions that took place in the neighbourhoods of Goodlands and the surrounding villages.
The first two days of this evangelism were marked by the presence of Pastor Miki Hardy. Following his call to repentance and salvation, around twenty people were touched on the first day. On the second day, he shared about the faith needed to receive God's healing. This message resonated with 15 people who came forward in faith to be healed and restored.
On the third day, Pastor Jocelyn Neeladoo encouraged the audience. Once again, a dozen people had their hearts touched.
At the end of the 3 days, Pastor Clarence Thésée told us that this evangelism had not only brought souls to the Lord but had also encouraged the whole church to tell others what Jesus had done in their lives.
The work doesn't stop there! Right now, the whole church is busy praying for and visiting new converts. Glory to the Lord Who is at work in the North.
